I have worked in the education sector for over 25 years, after originally training as a Quantity Surveyor and working in the construction sector for 7 years. I have had the pleasure of working in 4 schools throughout my career and led 3 of them as Headteacher. In 2019 I worked with a number of local Headteachers in forming One Community Trust and have led the Trust as CEO since it was formed in September of that year. I am passionate about education and ensuring vulnerable children and young people succeed alongside their peers. I also sit on the Local Authority’s SEND Board, SEMH Hub and Chair the local Schools’ Forum. Outside of education my passion is sport, namely Golf, Rugby League and Football.
